Message la moi du Janvier 2010 par Pasteur James E. Okon

1st Week's Topic:
rejoice in the lord always; and again i say rejoice
(phil. 4 :4-8)

1.     1. This month is not a month to rejoice in sin, in evil, I rebellion, unfaithfulness, greed, slander or in backsliding, etc. God will not help you in this state of life. Snatch yourself and separate from those who will not allow your joy to be in the Holy Ghost.

2.       2. as you rejoice this month ensure it is in (v8)
a.        Truthfulness: (whatsoever thing are true) Prov. 12:19; Zeph. 3:13; Zech. 8:16; Mala. 2:6; 2 Corin. 12:6, Eph. 4:25; 6:14 or insincerity Joshua 24:17, 1 corin. 5:8, 2 corin 1:12, 6:17, Phil. 1:10. Titus 2:7, 1 John 3:18

c.        Justice: (Whatsoever things are just [v8]) deut. 16:20, ps. 82:3, prov. 21:3, isa. 56:1, rom. 13:7, colo. 4:1, john 5:13, rom. 2:2.
d.       Purity: (Whatsoever things are pure) V8. Ps. 24:3, 24:4, Matt. 5:8, 1 tim. 1:5, 5:22, 1 pet. 1:22,

        3. Lovely Things: (Whatsoever thing are lovely) V.8. Nothing can be more lovely than identifying with God’s ideals in defence of God’s property towards the things of God like Enoch: Gen. 5:24, Noah: Gen. 6:9, etc.

4.      4. Good Report: (Whatsoever things are of good report) V.8. The Bible says that a good name is better than great riches. The friend of a thief is a thief. An idiom says; “Show me your friend and I will tell you whom you are”. What type of report will be given about you from this month as you rejoice before the Lord? David said, ‘Lord, set a watch before my month – Psalm 141:3. Watch in all things. 2 Tim. 4:5; Watch and ensure you stand fast in faith. . 1 Corinth. 16:13; watch and pray else somebody spoil your good name – Matt. 26:41; Mark 13:33; 14:38, Col. 4:2, 1 Thess. 5:6; 1 Pet. 4:7.

5.      5. In Christian Virtues: (If there be any virtue) V.8. To be virtuous is to have moral goodness, admirable quality or morally upright. Do not rejoice in corruption, pretence, hypocrisy, tribalism, or nepotism. Let it be in simple moral goodness. If virtue is not added to your knowledge you are ignorant. 2 Pet. 1:5; Prov. 22:29; Rom. 12:8; Heb. 6:11; 2 Pet. 1;10; 3:14; Prov. 13:4

6.       6. Heart of Praise: (If there be any Praise) V8: It is to express approval of an act or benevolent; to commend, to worship and to appreciate God. Juds. 5:3, Ps. 22:5, 34:1, 71:6, 145:21; Isa. 60:8, Zep. 3:20, Matt. 21:16, Heb. 2:12, 13:15; Ps. 42:5 & 11, 71:4, 119:164, 145:10.

7. Wise thoughts: (Think on these things) V8: To be thoughtful is to possess the ability to think right to opinion, judgement and care.
· Thinking of His loving kindness Ps. 48:9
· Pondering on His goodness on your ways Ps. 119:59
· How His Grace has humbled you – Rom. 12:3
· He directed your thoughts righteously. Prov. 12:5, 21:5

8. Deeper Life (The Grace of Fruitfulness): To be deeper in life is to experience a great dept profoundly in every spiritual and natural undertaking in physical life far below the surface. Getting involved and engrossed in intense art fulling. It is a deeper time of deeper life of meditation in God’s word – Ps. 1:2. A time to receive fresh revelation into secret things of God – Dan. 2:22, building your faith on Christ the solid rock – Luke 6:48. It is a period to seat at the feet of God’s anointed servants and receive the word of God like Mary – Luke 10:39. Giving room to the Holy Spirit who searcheth all things, get you deepened in God – 1 Corin. 2:10. He will give you the spirit of comprehension to be able to assimilate. All you receive – Eph 3:18. By special revelation, you shall know how much he loves you to be filled with all fullness of Christ – Eph. 3:19. Rejoice i the lord always again i say rejoice.

Sermon key-point:
"Be happy in his presence for he will give you all the help you need this year"

Thème de cette semaine:
REJOUISSEZ-VOUS TOUJOURS DANS LE SEIGNEUR; ENCORE JE LE REPETE, REJOUISSEZ-VOUS
(Philip. 4:4-8)

2.   2. En vous-rejouissant dans ce mois rassurez-vous que c’est dans (v8)
